As referenced by my previous post, I needed to get new tires for my car.

I originally had these:

And since those are no longer made, I switched to these:

Kinja'd!!!

Potenza RE97as

So first impressions after driving about 6 miles:

- Holy shit these new tires are quiet. The biggest complaint in the reviews I read about the old tires was the road noise. I never really thought it was that bad and it never really bothered me. When I left Costco with the new tires, just driving out of the parking lot, I noticed a big difference.

-The new tires don't feel as grippy as the old ones. This could just be due to the fact that they are still brand new, so we'll see once I've driven more than 6 miles.

-The new tires seem to ride a little softer than the old tires. The new ones are considered "performance/touring' vs the old ones that were "high performance." Again, we'll see once I've driven further.

So we'll see how the next 50,000 miles go.
